Hey, i am looking for help in setting up the OSL in an ankle only mode and what that would look like or where i could find some instructions about removing the knee motor and having the pi on the anle motor only if that is possible at all

Having the OSL in an ankle only mode is totally possible.
I am not sure why you want to remove the knee motor. What is your current setup ? How did you acquire it ? Did you receive it assembled or did you assemble it yourself ?
You PI should fit inside the compartment at the front of the ankle.
I want to try a few experiments for trans-radial amputees as well, so i want an ankle only mode, also the reason I ask this question is because there is a slot for the pi but I do not see any place for me to secure the pi into (no mount), so was asking do i just hot glue this in there?
I would not advise you to hot glue your pi inside the casing. Instead I would design a 3D printed holder for your pi that can be secured with the magnets.
Don’t forget that your pi can generate a lot of heat. Take that into account of the desgin of your holder and/or add cooling for your pi.
There was a holder developed but it is for a compute module and not a full pi. So if you reach a nice design, feel free to share it for the community.
