Hi. The OSL is mounted on a test setup. I obtain the loadcell readings through the Dephy motor.
In this test, I pushed the shank segment in three directions at the joint limit. The corresponding changes are clear in the measurements, so the readings are not just noise due to disconnected wires.
In two of the force and once of the moment readings, there are large spikes. I was wondering what could be causing these?
For me a median filter with a window of three samples seems to filter those spikes.
As for the cause, I’m still not sure. I suspect something happens as the signal travels through the Dephy board. It does not seem to be a problem with the updated PCB for the load cell.
